Collegeboxes and University Residence Halls
This is the first time we are introducing a service to make moving out easier for our residents. We have an agreement with Collegeboxes for them to be an authorized service provider affiliated with UW-Madison. Costs will vary based on the number of boxes you order and any other services you may choose to purchase.
The company will provide you with boxes and labeling material. Students need to make their own independent arrangements based on their individual needs.
If you are coming back in fall, Collegeboxes will store your furniture, carpeting, and boxes over the summer and deliver your possessions INTO YOUR NEW ROOM, where your things will be waiting for you when you arrive – all you need to do is unpack.
If you are not coming back to University Housing, Collegeboxes will pick up your boxes and ship them to your home address. You will need to place an order online for a pick-up appointment – the dates are first come first served with choices on May 9 (Friday), 13 (Tuesday), 14 (Wednesday), & 15 (Thursday).
