How to Add a Billing Address

To have Division of University Housing bills sent to a different location other than your Residence Hall mailbox, please follow these steps:

  1. Log onto My UW at my.wisc.edu.
  2. Log into My UW by typing your Net ID (your email address without the "@wisc.edu" portion) and your password.
  3. Click on "Student Center" in the box in the upper left corner of the page.
  4. In the new pop-up window, scroll down to "Personal Information" and click on "Home Address." This will take you to a page titled "Addresses" at the top.
  5. Scroll down and click on "Add a New Address"
  6. Type in your address on the next screen and click "OK"
  7. The next screen should read "Address Cleanse Results." Simply click “OK” to proceed.
  8. Check the box next to "Billing" under "Address Types" on the next screen and input a date in the "Date new address will take effect" spot.
  9. Click "Save" and then next screen should display a blue checkmark with the words "The Save was successful."
  10. Click "OK" to return to the original "Addresses" page. Verify your Billing Address is correct.

Click “Sign out” at in the upper right corner to exit the Student Center.
