2008-09 Academic Year Housing Bills
During the year, residents will receive 4 bills - the amount is not divided equally. Also, a final year-end bill will also be sent if the student incurs any additional charges.
During the second week of July, the first quarter bill will be mailed to the student's permanent home address (unless a different billing address was provided at SOAR through the My UW portal). Parents who plan to pay the bills may want their student to list the parent's address as the billing address in the My UW portal. Access to the My UW portal is available to UW-Madison students (with Net ID) on the Web at: my.wisc.edu
Second, third, and fourth quarter bills will be sent to the student's campus residence hall address unless an alternate billing address is recorded using the My UW portal on the Web.
Payment due:
- 1st quarter: Monday, August 4, 2008
(Monday, September 8, 2008 for students paying with financial aid) - 2nd quarter: Monday, October 13, 2008
- 3rd quarter: Monday, January 5, 2009
(January 26 for students paying with financial aid) - 4th quarter: Monday, March 9, 2009
- At times during the year, you will receive notice of other charges such as loaner key/lockout fees, damage assessment, or movie rentals.
Students who paid the $300 prepayment (contract deposit and/or advance payment) will see that amount credited to their Fourth Quarter Bill.
