Who are the Peer Mentors?

Blair Klostermeier

Blair Klostermeier

Peer Mentor, Bradley Learning Community

Once upon a time, in the far away land of St.Louis…I was born! Being from St. Louis and a Cardinals fan, I heartily enjoy bothering Cubs fans and Brewers fans (but especially Cubs fans). I love, love, love Madison and the subtle ways it reminds me of home. I’m a budding photographer and all of the nature here is great for that. I dream of learning to play the guitar; please teach me!

Hey everyone!! I’m from Appleton, WI, and I really have no idea what I would like to major in – but maybe theatre and psych. I love being around people, I enjoy deep conversations about life, and I LOVE to laugh! I enjoy being around other people, and I’m up for pretty much anything if it’s in good company! So I look forward to getting to know all of you!

Hillary Annin

Hillary Annin

Peer Mentor, Bradley Learning Community

Hillary is a UW-Madison student hailing from Central Wisconsin. When not working on her homework, she enjoys frolicking outside (when it’s warm enough to avoid frostbite), busing out her dance moves with her roommate, and napping. Hillary is majoring in Legal Studies and eventually plans to attend Law School. She also has a passion for epic films (such as Braveheart and Gladiator) and foods of the chocolate persuasion.

Megan Dickman

I’m from Green Bay, WI, and a huge baseball fan (yes, I like football, too). I love music/performing in musicals – I have been in 6 and made the costumes for 2 plays. I adore history and probably know more random facts than anyone person should. I also have a strange obsession with buying TV shows on DVD.

Hope Tyson

Peer Mentor, Bradley Learning Community

I’m from Chapel Hill, NC. I’m a stage manager for University Theatre, & I spend most of my free time in theaters. When I’m not doing that, I love running, cooking, gardening, and knitting, among other things. I also tell stories constantly.

I was born in a simple log cabin in the backwoods of Florida. After the great storm of ought ’92 my family made the treacherous journey to the small state of Vermont where we settled for four labor-intensive years. Once the poor harvest wiped out all of my family’s hard-earned savings we soon moved west to the great state of Minnesota where we have been living and prospering for over 10 years.

Hi! I’m Chun-See, a student from Hong Kong. I’m doing Chemical Engineering with hopes of working in the nanotech industry someday. I stayed in Elsom house during my first year at Bradley, and greatly enjoyed it. I like having fun, bumming around, and doing crazy, awesome things. So drop by and let’s get to know each other!

Ben Neilsen

Ben Neilsen

Peer Mentor, Bradley Learning Community

My name is Ben Nielsen, and I’m originally from a small town north of Green Bay. I’m studying to become a professor of Political Science or a campaign consultant. Positive and almost always smiling. I think life is best lived with good friends good music to dance to, and fiery debates over politics. My biggest wish is, if it was not impossible, to break out in dance in the street (think Hairspray).

Andrew Beulen

Andrew Beulen

Peer Mentor, Bradley Learning Community

What up Bradleyites? My name is Andrew Beulen from Oshkosh, WI. I spent my Freshman year as a music major but decided to change to Communication Arts this year. I love hanging out & playing many kinds of games as well as having philosophical conversations about life. I live life in the moment & am always looking for a fun time. I love food more than anything (except Bradley). I hope to see you all around!

Derek Hoerres

Derek Hoerres

Peer Mentor, Bradley Learning Community

Hey, I’m Derek from Gillett, Wisconsin! Don’t worry; you have no idea where that is!!! I am currently a Medical Microbiology and Immunology major, but that changes with the winds. I enjoy doing things outside such as camping, hiking, and rock climbing, but I am also a big nerd when it comes to things like Harry Potter and video games. I am a Pisces, enjoy long walks on the beach, sunsets, and a good book on a rainy day. While I spend enough time in the Library, my natural habitat at the University is in lower Frank’s eating GRANDE COOKIES!!! The hardest thing about college is balancing work with play, if you feel overwhelmed, and need some advice, don’t hesitate to ask.

Whitney Herchian

Whitney Herchian

Peer Mentor, Bradley Learning Community

Hi everyone! My name is Whitney Herchian and I'm from Kenosha, Wisconsin. I'm currently majoring in Biology with the intention of going into Pre-Veterinary studies. When I'm not spending time studying, I love to spend time with my friends, play tennis, watch movies, play card games, and just be outside and walk around campus. My true weakness is the Babcock ice cream, and after a long night of studying you can often find me in Lower Frank's with friends indulging in the delicious treat. Living in Bradley last year really helped me to become more outgoing and showed me all that this great university has to offer. I look forward to getting to know all of you, and if you have any questions (about anything), please don't hesitate to ask!
