Resources in Bradley
Laundry
There are eight washers and dryers located in the basement. Washers cost $2.00 per load and dryers are free. Residents pay for washers with their Housing Food Account.
Computing
The nearest location of the TLC (Technology Learning Center in Housing) is in Dejope Hall, which is next door to Bradley. At this location students can access computers, attend study groups, print documents, use scanners, check out cameras, etc.
Kitchen
The Bradley kitchen, located in the basement, has the supplies you need to make yourself a home-cooked meal or a batch of cookies. Although we have the basics (flour, seasonings, etc) you will need to provide your own food. The kitchen key can be checked out at Dejope Hall desk.
Music Room
Located adjacent to the Social Basement, the Music Room is a great place to practice your instrumental or vocal skills. Feel free to use the piano, but please, no percussion instruments or amplifiers (the room is not sound-proof). The Music Room key can be checked out at Dejope Hall desk.
Dejope Hall Resources
Located right outside your doorstep from Bradley, Dejope Hall is where residents will find many resources. All Bradley mailboxes are located here, as is Four Lakes Market, the closest dining location to the BLC. Dejope has a conveniently located University Health Services office. Bean & Creamery is also a great place to get coffee or ice cream and hang out with friends.
Residence Life Office (RLO)
The RLO is on the first floor of Bradley, and this is where residents can go to sign up or buy tickets for events like ski trips, concerts, community service trips, and much more. This is also where students can find the Program Director, Program Coordinator, and Program Advisor if they would like to create an event or start a BIG.
After Hours Space
AHS is the newest social space in Bradley. It is open nightly and staffed by the Peer Mentors, who are there to rent movies, loan sports equipment or games, or simply to hang out and watch an episode of Grey's Anatomy on the flat screen tv. There's also coffee and tea, so bring your mug & relax!
Social Basement
The Social Basement is the main programming area in Bradley, so there are frequently cool events happening here. There is also a big-screen tv, comfy chairs, ping-pong, foosball, and plenty of group study space.
Quiet Basement
The Quiet Basement is a great place for quiet, individual study. It is next to the laundry, so it's a great place to spread out your books while doing your whites. The vending machines are also located here, so you can get your caffeine for late-night cram sessions.
Bradley Classes
In addition to Bradley Roundtable, our 1-credit seminar solely for Bradley-ites, the BLC also offers several Bradley sections of the common/popular freshman classes. Many of these sections are held in the Bradley Classroom, which is adjacent to the Quiet Basement.
Reserved Course Sections for Bradley
You can start exploring classes by visiting the reserved course sections website.
House Dens
The dens, located on each floor in Bradley, are great places for house programs, group study sessions, or watching a movie with friends. The dens are also used for Bradley Roundtable sections.
Tutoring
Tutors from several departments including math, chemistry, and English hold weekly hours at Dejope Hall for Lakeshore Housing residents. Bradley also has its own math tutor, who holds hours in the Quiet Study Basement.
