Communication Arts 100:Introduction to Speech Composition

3 cr (a-E). Teaches students to give effective oral presentations in a variety of public speaking situations and to become better consumers of written and oral discourse. Students will also learn basic composition and outlining skills as well as library research techniques. P: Open to Fr. Only one of the following crses may be taken for credit: Com Arts 100, 105, 109, 181. Stdts desiring honors should elect 181. Stdts may receive degree cr for only one Com A crse.
