Our newest residence hall, Leopold Hall, is centrally located in the lakeshore neighborhood, south of Kronshage Hall and east of Frank Holt Center and Cole Hall. Leopold Hall is near Lake Mendota, Allen Centennial Gardens, Steenbock Library, and the UW Gymnasium-Natatorium. The four residential floors feature air-conditioned, carpeted, spacious double occupancy rooms in a cluster-style floor plan with 6-12 residents per bathroom. Living areas feature residential floor lounges with kitchenettes.

This hall was built around the theme of sustainability and being ecologically minded, named after Aldo Leopold. Leopold Hall also has a Greenhouse on the fourth floor and rooftop solar panels to assist with hot water heating. Electricity and water consumption monitors are located throughout the building. On the lower level are a classroom, main lounge, kitchen, and laundry facilities.
