Classes

This coming Fall semester there are over 15 classes offered in CRC that are only available to CRC residents. Take advantage of the opportunity to have a class within your community with fellow CRC residents -- here is a link to the classes that will be offered in the fall: Fall 2009 Class Sections for University Residence Halls Page.

Assessment of CRC courses show that students taking CRC class sections interact more with each other and have discussion relevant to class more frequently in class and around the building. Plus -- who wouldn't love to just walk down some stairs to go to class during a blizzard?

There's a class that fits for everyone! From our First-Year Seminar to community service and wellness courses, you can enhance your schedule while not overloading on credits. And, every breadth requirement is somehow represented in our course sections.

One of the classes in CRC this fall is History 460 -- American Environmental History, taught by CRC founder Bill Cronon. Environmental history studies the changing relationships between human beings and the natural world through time. The familiar terrain of American history looks very different when seen in its environmental context. For more information about the CRC section of this course, check out this flyer.
