Hall Desks

University Residence Halls

Your hall desk serves as a central information area, it is the "heart" of your community - a place where you can meet your friends before you grab dinner. It is a great resouce to help you contact various staff and other students in your community. Desk staff members are available to answer questions about your community and help you with day-to-day tasks. Many of the hall desks have movies, games, kitchen supplies and tools that can be checked out to you! In addition, there are times through out the semester that you may be able to sign up for a trip/event that your community is planning or buy tickets for a community dance. Stop by your desk and say hi - the staff is always welcoming friendly conversation.

Each desk offers the following services:

  • pick up mail and packages
  • add money to your Housing Food Account and Campus Cash
  • purchase stamps (at the Tripp Desk you can mail a package)
  • get your questions answered

**Service is limited during break periods
