Event Description: Chicago Trip!
TAS is making its annual trip to Chicago on Saturday, December 5th. There will be two drop‐off points: one at Michigan Avenue and one at the Christkindlmarket. Residents will have all day once they arrive to do whatever they would like… popular options are shopping on the Magnificent Mile, checking out the Bean at Millennium Park, and eating at some of the many delicious restaurants in the area. Tickets will be on sale at Tripp Desk starting on Monday, November 16, at 8 pm. This is a first come, first serve opportunity so make sure to sign up early.

ILC Roundtable Dinner presents Jean Feraca

Event Description: Jean Feraca is a Wisconsin Public Radio's Distinguished Senior Broadcaster. A twenty-five-year veteran of public radio broadcasting, Feraca is also a writer and a poet. She has received several honors including the Nation's Discovery Award and two Hopwood Awards. She will be speaking about her 2007 memoir "I hear voices"

Event Description: A Look at Iceland's National Poet
Richard Ringler is an emeritus Professor of English and Scandinavian Studies. he hlds a Ph.D. from Harvard and teaches courses in Old Norse-Icelandic, the Vikings, Old English, Beowulf, and Anglo-Saxon Cultural History. Ringler received the Chevalier Cross of the Order of the Falcon from Iceland's President for his contributions to the cultural heritage of Iceland.
