Arabic: Baytunaa
Baytunaa, Arabic for “Our Home,” is an Arabic language program located in the International Learning Community (ILC) in Adams Hall, adjacent to Lake Mendota.
Baytunaa is made up of a small group of students committed to improving their oral proficiency by active use of Arabic in cooperation with a language coordinator.
Applicants should either be committed to studying Arabic during the 2009-10 academic year at any level (including elementary), or will have studied the language for at least four semesters prior to September 2009.

What are the related costs associated with residence in Baytunaa for 2009-2010?
Most students in the “Baytunaa” program receive a single room or large suite assignment (shared with a roommate). A limited number of double spaces may also be available. There is also an additional $200 feature charge to support the extra activities associated with the program.
