How to Join (New UW-Madison Students)

  1. Submit your University Residence Halls contract and total $300 deposit.
  2. We send you an e-mail, directing you to submit your hall preferences.
  3. Select the "International Learning Community - Adams" as your top choice.
    • Language House Applications are due Thursday, April 11th, 2013. (Participation in a Language House is not a requirement to live with us.)
  4. We send you another email with a link to our room selection system in My UW Housing.
  5. Log into the system in spring and select your room for Academic Year 2013-14!

How to Join (Returning Students)

  1. December 14, 2012: Language House Applications are due (late applications will be considered). Students who have applied to a Language House will be notified regarding their acceptance prior to the Returning Resident Room Selection Process (Participation in a Language House is not a requirement to live with us).
  2. January 22, 2013: Email sent out to current residents' @wisc.edu accounts to complete next year's Notice of Intent online in My UW Housing.
  3. January 22 - February 1, 2013: All students complete their Notice of Intent online. Those who wish to return to their same room may complete their contract and submit a deposit immediately.
  4. February 13 , 2013: Students who wish to search for a different room will be emailed an access date and time to login to My UW Housing.
  5. February 18-21, 2013: Students select a new room by logging in to My UW Housing at their designated date and time.
  6. February 22, 2013: Online contracts due with $300.00 deposit.

Program Fee

The program fee for the ILC is $250.00 for Academic Year 2013-14. Based on the FAFSA you submit, you may qualify for a grant to cover some or the entire fee. For consideration, please email us by June 14th, 2013 at AssignMe@housing.wisc.edu.

Academic Year 2013-14 Language Immersion Program Applications
