What is EWHA?
EWHA – Elizabeth Waters Hall Organization is the student body organization within our hall that serves as the foundation for our community. To compare, EWHA is similar to student council, something you may or may not have been involved in during High School. Everyone who lives in Liz Waters is automatically a member of EWHA – it is up to you to take advantage of that opportunity and get involved!
EWHA exists to provide residents the opportunity and structure to achieve individual growth by facilitating community involvement. EWHA empowers residents of Liz Waters to be self governing by providing you with ownership for the quality of student life within your hall. Through encouraging leadership and development and creating social, cultural, and scholastic opportunities, EWHA strives to create an inclusive, safe, and welcoming community.
Community comes from inside! That is why we have this opportunity for residents to come together to help create that community. Along with event coordinating, EWHA also promotes community through giving students a forum to voice their opinions on student life issues within the building and housing. By serving as the governing body of the hall and as a liaison between students and administration, EWHA succeeds every year at making Liz Waters a great place to live.
