Involvement

By becoming involved, you create your own home away from home. Finding your niche on the campus can make life on a large campus easier and meeting people a lot more fun. Involvement is about what you would like to contribute to the community. One of the easiest ways to get involved early is to become an active member of your House community and to help your House Fellow plan events and meetings. Each House in Liz receives money based on the number of residents. Since this money belongs to the residents, it’s up to you all to decide how your money is spent. Your House Fellow will discuss some event ideas and ask for your participation in House meetings. In addition to House events, you can get involved at the Hall level through EWHA and interest groups.

Ways to get involved at Liz Waters:

Interest Groups

Interest groups are about people who have something in common that they want to share. Through interest groups, you will have the opportunity to share some of the hobbies and activities that you enjoy, as well as expand your horizons by trying out the interests of others. You can create an interest group about anything: movies, sports, dancing, knitting and crafts, canoeing on Lake Mendota -- your imagination is the limit.
