Merit House Renovation Complete
August 23, 2010
Merit House renovations were completed in August 2010. Many small, but important, details were taken care of in the final weeks of work. Some of them included:
- Vacuuming and dusting rooms and common spaces.
- Unpacking new items in the renovated kitchens.
- Hanging flat panel televisions in the lounges.
- Final testing of the new heating and air conditioning units.
- Wiping down the mirrors in the new bathrooms.
Construction Overview
Constructed in 1986, Merit House is being renovated to make necessary updates to the structure, replace worn out bathroom and kitchenette fixtures and appliances, and improve furnishings and finishes.
