Important Dates and Deadlines

Spring 2013

  • January 7: Third quarter housing bill due
  • January 19, 8:00 AM: University Residence Halls re-open for the spring semester
  • January 22: Classes begin
  • January 22 – February 1: All students must complete their Notice of Intent in My UW Housing stating whether or not they wish to return to the University Residence Halls in 2013-14
    • Students who wish to return to their same room in 2013-14 may complete their contract and submit a deposit immediately
  • January 28: Third quarter housing bill extended due date for residents paying with financial aid
  • February 13: Students returning to University Residence Halls in 2013-14 who wish to search for a different room or hall will be e-mailed an access date and time to login to My UW Housing
  • February 18 – 21: Returning students select a new room/hall by logging in to My UW Housing at their deignated access date and time
  • February 22: Online contracts due with $300 deposit in My UW Housing
  • March 11: Fourth quarter housing bill due
  • March 23 – 31: Spring recess (all University Residence Halls remain open)
  • April 1: Classes resume after spring recess
  • April 24 – May 3: Learning Community room selection in My UW Housing for new residents
  • May 1: Advance payment and residence hall preferences due in My UW Housing for new residents
  • May 10: Last day of classes
  • May 11: Study day
  • May 12 – 18: Final exam period
  • May 17 – 19: Commencement weekend
  • May 19, 12:00 PM: All University Residence Halls close
  • May 30: Summer Student Orientation, Advising, and Registration (SOAR) begins for new students
