Your SOAR stay in the University Residence Halls is campus’ recommended way to introduce you and your parents/guests to the helpful resources and wonderful experiences that await you at UW-Madison.
Guests can also join the SOAR House Fellow from 9:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. each night in the main lobby for activities and other fun ways to connect with other students.
By the time you move in, you’ll already have an idea of where to eat, how residence hall rooms can be set up and what a helpful resource your House Fellow is. You can also meet other students whom you can stay in touch with throughout your time at Madison.
Book your SOAR Housing reservation beginning in April, once you've booked your SOAR session through Center for First Year Experience (CFYE).
University Housing has great SOAR options for students and parents/guests. For detailed information about costs, arrivals, room assignments and much more, visit our SOAR accommodations page.
