Where to Eat
Housing Food Account
The Housing Food Account is a debit card account for dining service and laundry in the University Residence Halls which is accessed with your UW-Madison student ID card. Be sure to make a deposit to your Housing Food Account prior to your arrival on campus so you can get a great meal in one of our dining locations beginning on your first day in the University Residence Halls.
Housing Bills
The University Residence Halls have a quarterly billing system. All housing bills are sent electronically to the email address you have on file with the University. You will receive two quarterly bills as a new spring student. One bill is due January 28, 2013 and the second bill is due March 11, 2013. Be sure to review our rate information in our payment guide for making online payments.
Immunization/Health History Form
Wisconsin law requires you to complete an important health record form regarding vaccination dates prior to moving into the University Residence Halls. You will complete the health record form on the secure University Health Services website.
Get "Connected" (ResNet)
We offer a wide variety of technology services to you! Rooms are provided with high speed Ethernet access and expanded basic cable TV. Wireless internet access is available in all residence halls.
Fall 2013
In fall 2013, the University Residence Hall move-in days will be August 28 and 29. Residents are assigned to one of these days based on which hall/floor they are assigned to. We do not assign residents to a specific time for that day. Instead, students are welcome to move-in anytime after 8:00 a.m. on their assigned move-in day. Most students will receive their room assignment and move-in date in early June. A few specific groups, such as student employees and international students, will receive an earlier move-in date to accommodate training/orientation.
