ResNetThe Residential Network (ResNet) is managed by the Division of University Housing Information Technology Department. Our mission is to provide high quality ResNet services to students and conference guests living in University Housing. University Residence HallsRooms are provided with Internet access and cable TV. Local telephone service is provided through common area phones located in floor dens and main lobbies throughout the residence halls. Wireless ResNet Internet service is also available throughout Housing common areas such as lounges, dining rooms and study rooms. Charges for ResNet services are included in your Housing contract. The Voice, Video, Data and Wireless sections of this web site provide you with the information you need to use these services. University ApartmentsEagle Heights Apartments are provided with Internet access in each bedroom and living room, while University Houses Apartments are provided with Internet access on the main floor. Charges for ResNet services are included in your monthly rent. Wireless ResNet Internet service is also available in the Community Center Study Room. The Data and Wireless sections of this web site provide you with the information you need to use these services. Cable TV and telephone services are arranged by individual residents through providers that offer these services in Madison. Conference GuestsRooms are provided with Internet and digital television access using your computer. Cable television is available in each room using your own television. You can also watch digital television on your computer using the campus Digital Academic Television Network (DATN). Data and video cables are available for purchase at your hall desk.
