ResNet
The Residential Network (ResNet) is managed by the Division of University Housing Information Technology Department. Our mission is to provide high quality ResNet services to University Housing residents and guests.
University Residence Halls
Resident rooms are provided with Internet access and cable TV service, which includes a selection of HD and foreign language channels, and an option to subscribe to premium channels. You may also watch a selection of digital television channels on your computer using the campus Digital Academic Television Network (DATN). ResNet Wireless internet service is also available throughout Housing common areas such as lounges, dining rooms and study rooms. Additionally, wireless coverage will be expanded to include resident rooms over the course of the fall 2012 semester. The Wired Data, Wireless Data, Video, and Voice sections of this web site provide you with the information you need to use these services.
University Apartments
Eagle Heights and Harvey Street Apartments are provided with Internet access and cable TV service in each bedroom and living room, which includes a selection of HD and foreign language channels, and an option to subscribe to premium channels. University Houses are provided with Internet access on the main floor and cable TV service on the main floor and/or in the bedroom. Charges for ResNet services are included in your monthly rent. ResNet Wireless internet service is available in the Community Center study room and classrooms. The Wired Data and Wireless Data sections of this web site provide you with the information you need to use these services. Telephone services are arranged by individual residents through providers that offer these services in Madison. You may also watch a selection of digital television channels on your computer using the campus Digital Academic Television Network (DATN).
Conference Guests
Guest rooms are provided with Internet access and cable TV service, which includes a selection of HD and foreign language channels. You may also watch a selection of digital television channels on your computer using the campus Digital Academic Television Network (DATN).
