Creative Arts & Design Learning Community Events Fall 2012

Upcoming Events

With so many great opportunities at our disposal, we're very excited to begin planning events that display the creative offerings in Madison and surrounding areas.  The following is a continually evolving list of possible CADC events.

  • Chicago
    • Trips to the Windy City will entail museum explorations and theatre excursions.  Backstage tours will allow the designers, engineers, and theatre buffs to catch a glimpse of the work done behind-the-scenes.  Architectural tours like those of Frank Lloyd Wright's work will also be planned, as well as many other adventures as they emerge.
  • Madison and Surrounding Areas
    • The arts are booming in Madison and its surrounding areas.  Look forward to excursions to the Madison Museum of Contemporary Art (MMoCA) and the Milwaukee Art Museum.  Theatre outings are in the works to the University's theatre and Madison's Overture Center.
  • Guest Speakers
    • We have a growing list of potential guest speakers to our learning community.  Look forward to hearing from a range of professional artists and designers, screenwriters and consultants.
