Resident Organizations
Residents take an active part in planning activities and services for the community. The Eagle Heights/Harvey Street Assembly and its committees address the needs of residents of the community. These groups work with staff to respond to community issues, make recommendations regarding policy, and assist in the planning and implementation of services and programs for the community.
Community Gardens
The two University Apartments-Community Gardens, adjacent to Eagle Heights and to University Houses, offer an opportunity for residents to enjoy the out-of-doors, to meet neighbors, and to grow vegetables and flowers for their own use. Organic and non-organic garden plots rent for a small fee, which finances the operation of the Gardens. Day to day operations of the Gardens is overseen by a committee of volunteer gardeners, which always welcomes new members.
