Eagle Heights

About the Community

The Eagle Heights neighborhood of University Student Apartments is a diverse, international community. The apartments are on the northwest end of campus near a natural wooded preserve. There are approximately 3,000 residents, currently representing over 65 countries. The apartment buildings are grouped in clusters, creating a neighborhood feel. The grounds are spacious, and there are many outdoor recreation and play areas. Resident Managers and other community resources can help you get to know the community and provide emergency assistance when offices are closed.

There are many reasons to choose University Apartments, but affordability, safety, and convenient location are three most often cited by residents.

Central campus is located just a short distance away, easily accessible by bike or bus. The campus bus is free, and all UW-Madison students and staff receive a free city bus pass for use on other routes. University Apartments children attend nearby neighborhood schools.

The city of Madison, which surrounds the campus, offers a variety of cultural and recreational activities including civic events, outdoor concerts, seasonal farmers' markets, and a wide selection of restaurants and shops. MORE
