Moving In to University Apartments

University Apartments Resident Handbook 2007-2008 (PDF)  The Resident Handbook is a great resource for both new and returning residents.  It includes helpful information for living in University Apartments and includes resources both on campus and in the Madison area. 

Lead Paint Information:   In accordance with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) we are required to inform you of any lead based hazards in your prospective apartment.  Below are the letters (in PDF format) for the three neighborhoods and the link to the brochure from the EPA.

Current Newsletters and Event Calendars 

Roommate Add Request Form (PDF) The Roommate Add Request Form should be completed prior to a roommate moving in to your apartment.  All roommates muct be approved by the leasing office in advance.

Roommate Release Request Form (PDF)The Roommate Release Request Form needs to be submitted with signatures from both roommates agreeing to the date of departure and financial obligations.

Household Information Form (PDF) - If you have a change in your household, please complete this form so we can update our records.

Moving Out of University Apartments

Lease Termination Form (PDF) The Lease Termination Form should be returned to the Univeristy Apartments Office at least 90-days prior to your move out date.

Move Out Information (PDF) The Move-Out Guide contains helpul information for planning your move and cleaning your apartment.

Rental Reference Authorization Form (PDF)  The Rental Reference Authorization form must be on file with University Housing before rental information will be released.
