Rates
Rates are reviewed each year and increases must be approved by the Board of Regents. Rent increases are usually announced in late spring with an effective date of June 1. Residents are provided with at least 60 days notice of the new rates. No state tax money is received by the Division of University Housing, and all operating and repair costs for University Faculty Apartments are paid from rent income.
Rent is due on or before the first day of the month. For example, rent for August must be paid by August 1. A late charge is assessed when rent is paid after the due date.
A $300 deposit is due at the time you submit a signed lease. A deposit is not required at the time you submit your housing application.
Below are the approved monthly rates for 2007-2008 lease year (June 1, 2007- May 31, 2008):

Rates listed above for the 2008-2009 lease year are subject to final approval by the University of Wisconsin Board of Regents in Summer 2008.
