Programs and Services
A professional staff is readily available to assist with all kinds of services, such as:
- leasing of the apartments and check-in
- providing assistance in resolving concerns among neighbors
- planning educational, social, cultural, and recreational programs
- helping you find child care
- providing apartment maintenance and grounds care
- Resident Managers are available to help you get to know our community and to provide after-hours assistance.
Residents have access to the University Apartments Community Center where they can take advantage of year-round child care, support services, recreational programs, special events and classes. On-going activities include adult recreational sports such as basketball, daily "open gym" time for school-aged children, drop-in play time for preschoolers and their parents or caregiver, English as a Second Language (ESL) classes, international cooking demonstrations, Single Parent Group. Residents may also rent space in the Community Center for meetings and parties.
Community Policing
The University has its own police force, with a Community Police Officer based in the University Apartments complex. Our officer is available to answer questions, coordinate educational programs with residents, and help out with any police or security concerns residents may have. The Community Policing office is located in the Community Center and the phone number is 265-5717.
