Faculty Director, Women in Science and Engineering
Linda E. Graham is a Professor in the Botany Department, is also affiliated with the Limnology and Marine Sciences and the Water Resources Management graduate programs, and has served as Chair of all three. Linda does research on aquatic microorganisms and plants, using molecular techniques to resolve ecological and evolutionary issues. She works closely with several engineering faculty to develop ways to improve water quality and produce biofuels at the same time. Linda teaches introductory and intermediate/advanced biology courses (Biology 151/2, Botany 100, Botany 330, and Botany 360). Linda is married to another biologist and has two children, both biology majors. One has just finished undergraduate work at the University of Chicago, and the other is a senior at UW-Madison. So Linda is very interested in fostering the next generation's interest and achievement in science, math, and engineering.

Anthropology/Pre-Med, Women in Science and Engineering
Hey there :) I'm Audrey. I am a fun-loving Anthropology major who's studying pre-med as well. I come from an extremely small town called Bangor, WI (way over between Sparta and LaCrosse) So if you're into the bubbler/water fountain, soda/pop debates, I'm more likely to side with the Minnesotans because Bangor's so close to the border. I am a 3rd year WISE woman, but this will actually be my first year as the Involvement Coordinator! I am a first generation college student, so college is always an adventure for me. Because I didn't have much help when I started on campus, I am ALWAYS willing to answer questions and give advice about what I've learned. You'll usually find me studying while watching Law & Order somewhere with a pillow. I pride myself on my listening skills and my ability turn the most awkward situation into one of uncontrollable laughter. Family and friends are the most important things in my life, without them I wouldn't survive, and I'm always looking for m ore friends so I can't wait to meet you!
