COMMUNITY EVENTS

The King and I
Feb. 26 – March 3

Two worlds collide in this “breathtaking and exquisite” (The New York Times) musical, based on the 2015 Tony Award®-winning Lincoln Center Theater production. One of Rodgers & Hammerstein’s finest works, THE KING AND I is set in 1860’s Bangkok, the musical tells the story of the unconventional and tempestuous relationship that develops between the King of Siam and Anna Leonowens, a British schoolteacher whom the modernist King, in an imperialistic world, brings to Siam to teach his many wives and children. Show is at the Overture Center of the Arts, tickets range between $35 – $135.

Madison Kids Expo
March 2 & 3

The Madison Kids Expo is the perfect opportunity for families to come out and learn, explore + play together! Play the day away at our 10+ Play Zones, including inflatables, face painting, a climbing wall, Touch-A-Truck, petting zoo, and more! There’s even something for the parents – get information and samples for everything kid-related – such as toys and games, sports and fitness, learning devices, safety products, health and nutrition, pediatricians, martial arts, dancing, day cares, schools, natural products, activity equipment, camps and much more for kids of all ages.
