Yoga Healthy Hour
April 5

Come and join B4C’s Healthy Hour for mindful movement, nourishing snacks, and an international community. Sign-up is required and the event is free.

Kids Night Out
April 12

Join us for another great Kids Night Out with the Campus Women’s Center. Kids Night Out is a coordinated evening program that is scheduled approximately one Friday night per month with free activities at the Community Center. Children will be having fun with games, movies and snacks and other fun activities. This night is limited to 40 children so sign up fast. Registration is required and will be posted closer to the event date on our calendar.

Annual Yard Sale
April 13

Come bring your used items that you no longer need. You can choose to sell them to you neighbors, give them away for free, or just trade them. You are responsible for your own items.  Rain Date will be April 14.

Yoga with Colleen
April 18

Come join one of Resident Managers, Colleen as she leads a mindfulness yoga group. No sign up is required but is limited to 20 people.

Cooking Class
April 19

If you are interested in teaching a class, email us at uaevents@housing.wisc.edu to sign up as a teacher. All ingredients and instructions are provided. Registration required and will be posted closer to the event date on our calendar.

Women’s Coffee and Conversation
April 25

We will be having another session of the Women’s Coffee and Conversation group in the Community Center in room 139. This is a free event and all women are welcome to attend. This is an opportunity for women to get together and discuss events that are happening today in a safe space.

Community Campfire
April 26

Come and enjoy an evening of fun, games and music at the Dejope Fire Circle. We will provide items to make s’mores for the group. We hope to see you at the fire circle.

Featuring a walking tour of the hospital, live animals, presentations, interactive booths, and activities for kids.

Friends Semiannual Book Sale
April 10 – 13

This semiannual sale is organized by the Friends to help to support our annual lecture series, special purchases for the library collections, preservation of library materials, and grants for the visiting scholar program.  We accept donations for upcoming sales on a continual basis. The sale is free (except the preview sale) and open to the public.

MAKE, CRAFT & DO: Recycled Bottle Bird Feeder
April 20

With Earth Day approaching, it is important to appreciate the planet we live on, and the nature within it! Bring in a recyclable water bottle/container to this fun, hands-on crafting workshop and transform it into a bird feeder! If you can’t find a recyclable item to bring in, don’t sweat it, we’ll have spares just in case. This event is perfect for crafters ages 12 and up.
