Dear Residents of University Apartments,
As you all have noticed, a few weeks ago University Apartments informed us that they are going to increase the rent for 2020-2021 by 5%. As part of our role as University Apartments Assembly, we would like to host an online Assembly meeting with Kelly Ignatoski, Director of University Apartments and Jeff Novak, Director of University Housing on Thursday, June 25th at 6 pm. Another e-mail will be sent closer to the meeting with instructions on how to attend.
For new residents of University Apartments, Assembly is the resident voice of University Apartments. Our board members consist of volunteer residents of the community. We play an active part in planning activities and services for our community, along with addressing residents and community needs by working with staff to respond to community issues, making policy recommendations, and assisting in planning and implementing services and programs. This is a great way to meet other residents in your community and have your voice heard.
In order to facilitate an effective meeting, we ask you to please send us potential questions of yours about the rent increase or the general housing concerns prior to the meeting. Please send your questions to firstname.lastname@example.org before 12:00 p.m. (noon) on Monday, June 22. Please use subject line “UA Rent Increase.”
