As part of our focused efforts to manage COVID-19 cases in your residence hall, all Sellery and Witte residents who are still on campus are required to participate in a new round of COVID-19 testing this Wednesday and Thursday, September 16-17. Please schedule this testing now in MyUHS to secure an appointment on the day and time that will work for you. This round of testing will take place at the new Kohl Center testing site, with separate entry/exit points designated only for Sellery and Witte residents on these days. You may leave Sellery and Witte to attend your appointment. It is expected that you will go to the Kohl Center and return immediately.
Where: Kohl Center (see specific Sellery/Witte entry points)
When: September 16 and 17, 8:30am to 4:00pm
Again, all residents living in Sellery and Witte during the quarantine are required to have a COVID-19 test appointment during this two-day round of testing. If you fail to complete a test during this time, we will assume that you are not here, and your electronic building access will be restricted until the quarantine is lifted.
Quarantining at Home?
For those who have temporarily returned home for the quarantine period, you do not need to participate in this round of testing. However, you will need to submit proof of a negative test result conducted after September 15 before returning in order to reinstate your building access. These results should be submitted through MyUHS. (In MyUHS, select the “Messages” tab, click “New Message,” and select the “COVID-19 Outside Result Report” option to complete the form and attach your lab results documentation.)
Students who reenter Sellery or Witte without completing the testing requirements may be removed from University Housing.
Compliance with testing is vital if we are to take steps towards lifting quarantine restrictions in your residence hall on schedule. Thank you for helping with our efforts to move ahead successfully. If you have questions, please use our online Contact form.
