Help the CDC learn more about COVID-19 and find out if you have antibodies!
From November 9 through November 12, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) will be partnered with UW-Madison and the Wisconsin Department of Health Services to conduct antibody tests on students who wish to participate. Tests will be offered from 10 am-4:30 pm at Carson Gulley Center on November 9 and 10 and at Gordon Dining & Event Center November 11 and 12.
Any students living in UW-Madison residence halls are welcome to participate whether they have tested positive for COVID-19 previously or not. We also encourage students who had their antibodies tested at the beginning the semester to return and have them tested again. Results will help the CDC learn more about COVID-19 infection and immune response among college students. These tests require collection of a small volume of blood, about two teaspoons. All results of antibody tests will be reported back to students. Results will take 1-2 weeks to be returned.
