UW Madison is Hiring! – Residence Life Coordinator Position

It is with much excitement that the Department of Residence Life/University Housing at the University of Wisconsin-Madison shares an opening on our team for aResidence Life Coordinator position.

Our department houses approximately 8000 residents in 21 residence halls including 11 learning communities and affinity communities, located in the heart of downtown Madison, Wisconsin.

We are excited to share the creation of the Wisconsin Residential Experience, our new residential curriculum model.  The professional staff are educators focusing on intentional opportunities for student learning as our residents build skills in the areas of academic success, community engagement, inclusion, and wellness to support them throughout their entire academic career and beyond.

The RLC position will be located in the Lakeshore community, prized for its lush green space and access to Lake Mendota, while being a short distance from downtown Madison.  This position will supervise a staff of 11 student staff in the historic Kronshage community supporting approximately 400 residents.   The RLC will work closely with unit staff and department colleagues in the area of Academics, Diversity & Inclusion and Resident Assistance to provide support for our students as they venture through their Wisconsin Experience.   Please note this is our current opening, and we anticipate other openings may occur as current staff are pursuing new and exciting opportunities.   Salary:  $42,000
