I will have been with Housing 14 years come April 1st.

What is your current role in University Housing?

Assistant Food Service Manager

How long have you been with University Housing? Other positions on campus?

This is the only Job I’ve had with Housing.

What do you do on a typical day in your job?

I help guide co-workers in process of serving great food to all the students that dine at Gordon.

What’s your favorite thing about working with students who are living on campus?

It’s fun and they make you feel young. Lol!

What is a past work accomplishment that you’re proud of?

I started at a restaurant here in Madison when I was in high school as a dishwasher, and 22 years later I was the head chef.

What is a secret talent that your co-workers may not know about?

I know my way around a pool table, and I played softball as a pitcher for 20 years.

Where did you grow up?

I was born up north in Park Falls, WI, lived in Lodi through grade school, and have lived in Madison since 1976.

Where is your favorite place in the world?

Lambeau Field or the Bahamas

What are you passionate about?

Football or collecting Hot Wheels

What is your favorite TV show, movie, or book?

NCIS, the FBI shows, or football

What is your favorite family/home tradition?

Buying and watching a new movie on Christmas Eve with my kids.
