As Veteran’s Day approaches on Friday, November 11th, we would like to express a HEaRT-felt thank you to veterans everywhere and especially to those who are fellow Housing staff members. To all veterans of all branches and their families, including those who continue to serve, we are sincerely grateful for your sacrifice, bravery, and service.
A Veterans Day recognition breakfast hosted by University Veteran Services and Wisconsin Union team will be held on November 11th at the Memorial Union Main Lounge between 9–10:30am. Following this event is an invitation to join the UW–Madison chapter of Student Veterans of America placing flags on Bascom Hill through 4pm.
The Partners in Giving campaign also has opportunities to donate to many charitable causes in support of our veterans.
