In this Technê Skillshare, we will engage in interactive exercises that explore the fundamentals of improvisational theatre! Improv principles—listening actively, failing cheerfully, making others feel safe and look good—can help us in every aspect of our lives (work, home, parenting, play). Join us for this fun, friendly, and playful event, and be sure to bring comfortable clothes! Please sign up in this form: https://forms.office.com/r/mT2q67L7Tc

Lisa Barker will facilitate this workshop. Lisa directs the School of Education’s outreach office, PLACE (Professional Learning and Community Education), and is Affiliate Faculty in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction. She earned her doctorate in curriculum and teacher education from Stanford University and is interested in how improvisational theatre can be applied in professional settings.
