Hello! My name is Jules Orcutt (They/Them), and I am the ACUHO-I Summer Intern for Programming in University Apartments this year. I am originally from Buffalo, NY and I am very excited to be staying in Madison this summer.
In 2021, I graduated from the State University of New York College at Geneseo with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Geography. I then went on to complete a post-graduate fellowship at the University of Rochester in Rochester, NY in collaboration with the AmeriCorps. I am currently a graduate student in the Higher Education and Student Affairs, Ed.M. program at the State University of New York at Buffalo. I am passionate about diversity, equity, accessibility, and inclusion initiatives on college campuses and providing health and wellness education, outreach, and advocacy for all.
In my free time I love to read, weight lift, volunteer, and spend time outside. I am very excited to be assisting with programming this summer. If anybody has any specific ideas for a program they would like to see happen, please feel free to reach out to me at orcutt2@wisc.edu. Thank you!
