Portrait of Daley WilsonMy name is Daley Wilson (she/her). I am an intern at Madison Mental Health Services and have the opportunity to work within this agency until I graduate in May.
Currently, I am a graduate student within the Master of Social Work Program at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. I attended UW-Madison for my undergrad as well and graduated with a Bachelors of Social Work degree, with an emphasis in psychology. I previously interned within Children’s Wisconsin- School Based Mental Health program, doing therapy with students during the school day. During my undergrad, I interned as a case manager with Project RESPECT, an agency in Madison that works with and supports survivors of human trafficking and sexual exploitation.

I am so excited to have the opportunity to work with Madison Mental Health Services, I have a passion for working with clients within a therapeutic space. I am interested in working with children, teens, young adults, and older adults, but open to working with people of all ages. I am especially interested in providing support with people who have experienced trauma, people who have non-traditional family structure or dynamics, and supporting those who have experienced loss or are grieving. I am committed to ensuring a safe and open space to discuss trauma, family dynamics, intrapersonal relationships, and gender and sexuality. I am dedicated to being a learner, and aspire to continuously grow throughout my time at MMHS. I feel especially drawn to trauma-informed Cognitive Behavior therapy, motivational interviewing, play therapy, and interested in art therapy.

More about me, I love the outdoors and spending time in the sun. I’m from Wisconsin and have spent some time living in the Florida Keys! I enjoy playing volleyball, swimming, and taking my cat for walks. During the winter months, I enjoy watching TV shows, doing DIY projects, and playing video games. I have a kitty, named Periwinkle, who is very adventurous and mischievous.

I look forward to connecting with you. You can reach me at daleymadisonmentalhealth@gmail.com to connect further! I will have appointment availability virtually or in-person at Madison Mental Health Services on Mondays, in-person or virtually at Eagle Heights Community Center on Thursday mornings and in-person on Friday from 8am-4:30pm .
