Reservations
Making a Reservation
To make a reservation with University Housing, please visit our housing portal.
Once at the portal, guests will create a login by clicking “Register here.” Once registered and logged in, navigate to (Book Your Stay) at the top of the page and select “Summer Guests: Overnight Reservations.” On the following page, navigate to the conference or program and click “Select” to begin the reservation process for securing a room.
Reservations will close two weeks prior to the program start date or when the room block has filled.
Guests will not make payment at the time of reservation. An email will be send to guests three weeks prior to the program start date with payment instructions. If your program is within three weeks, an email will be sent the day after creating your reservation.
A non-refundable payment for the full amount is due two weeks prior to the program start date.
Editing a Reservation
In order to make date adjustments to an existing reservation, guests must log in to the portal and cancel an existing reservation.
See Canceling a Reservation below for process to cancel a reservation.
Once the reservation is cancelled, guests can go into the portal and navigate to their program or conference to make a new reservation. If your changes are within two weeks of your program start date, please contact Conference Services by calling 608-262-5576 or emailing conferenceservices@housing.wisc.edu.
If you have already made payment on your reservation, the payment from your original reservation will transfer and apply towards your new reservation, leaving a balance due or credit. (If you have credit due, please contact conferenceservices@housing.wisc.edu.)
Canceling a Reservation
To cancel a reservation, navigate to (Book Your Stay) and select “Cancel of Change Your Reservation.” Find your reservation to cancel and click “Select.” Review the prompt and click “Save & Continue.”
If you are cancelling a reservation where payment has been made and you are not rebooking a reservation, this payment is non-refundable. Please contact Conference Services at conferenceservices@housing.wisc.edu with an extenuating circumstances you wish to discuss.
