May 2012 – July 2013
Frank Holt Center, formerly named Holt Commons, underwent a renovation to enhance student services support spaces and dining during construction of Leopold Residence Hall next door. With the opening of Four Lakes Market at Dejope Residence Hall in fall 2012, the former Frank’s Place on the second floor of Holt closed. The second floor of the renamed Frank Holt Center was converted into flexible conference/program space for student events and activities in the lakeshore neighborhood. Building entrances were enhanced and the Bean & Creamery dining location on the first floor received more spacious and new seating for customers looking for coffee, ice cream, and grab-and-go items.
