Get to know Chef Dan:
“I’ve been working for dining about a year and a half, and before that, I’ve been the chef at various Madison area restaurants for 12 years. I became a chef because I’ve always liked working with my hands and trying to be creative. I enjoy the fast pace and sense of community that comes from spending a life in the kitchen. I get a sense of pride from giving people something that hopefully makes them happy and improves their day. My favorite part about cooking is all the great people I have worked with and learned from over the years and eating good food. I wanted to do a pasta making class because I wanted to show people how easy it is to make something that is vastly superior to a product (dry pasta) that they have been eating their whole life. It’s a great entrance point into the world of making really great food for yourself and others and it’s a fun project to do with friends and family.”
