The Lion King, Broadway’s highest grossing musical, is coming to the Overture Center, and we’ve got tickets for you! The show is on May 27th at 2pm. You will receive a physical ticket if you attend the event. More information will follow regarding ticket pickup dates.
Signup for this event will open on Monday, April 17th at 4:00pm. That way, everyone has a fair chance at signing up. The signup will close on Friday, April 28th at 4:00pm. There are only 48 tickets available, so a waitlist will be provided if they should fill up.
This trip is only available to current residents who live in Eagle Heights, University Houses, or Harvey Street Apartments. Trip cost is $65 per person and will be billed directly to your UW Housing account. This fee covers the ticket to the show. You will not be billed until after the event.
When signing up, please type the TOTAL (including the person signing up) amount of people attending. (Example: A family of 3 would type ‘3’ in the quantity section to reserve 3 seats.) That household would be billed $195 to their UW Housing account.
Please only sign up if you plan to attend. If a resident signs up and does not attend the trip, they will still be billed $65 for each seat they reserved.
Lastly, we will not be providing transportation to the Overture Center. You will be responsible for finding your own way to the Overture Center. There are bus routes, parking garages, the electric bike system, or walking options. More information will be provided in a later email if you sign up for the event.
