On Friday, November 22, join us at the Community Center for a chance to learn about Thanksgiving, chat with your fellow residents, and enjoy a mashed potato bar.
Starting at 6:00 pm, the event will begin with time for residents to socialize as the final touches are being put on the mashed potato bar. At 6:30 pm, the mashed potato bar will open. Finally, from 7:00 pm until 7:30 pm, a small program discussing Thanksgiving traditions in America will wrap up the session. Residents are welcome to continue socializing until 8:00 pm when the Community Center closes.
If you wish to participate in the potato bar, registration is required as there are limited supplies available. The signup will open on Wednesday, November 13 at 4:00 pm and close on Monday, November 18 at 4:00pm. There are only 35 slots to sign up for the mashed potato bar, and the maximum quantity each household can sign up for is two mashed potatoes. Each package of mashed potatoes can feed four individuals. You must be a resident at the time of the event in order to receive mashed potatoes. The toppings are unlimited!
