Students may give parents and other individuals access to view and make payment to the student’s tuition bill, which includes housing and dining charges, by setting them up as an authorized payer. Authorized Payer Setup Instructions
Housing Advance Payments
As part of your housing application checklist you will submit your advance payment to complete your application. This application and payment are made in My UW Housing portal. The only housing payment you will make through this portal is for your advance payment.
Housing and Meal Plan Payments
All other housing and dining charges will be included on your tuition bill. Payment methods and instruction are detailed here.
Student Meal Plan dollars are preloaded on to the student’s wiscard account before Fall and Spring semester begins so that students may utilize the dining facilities upon arrival. These preloaded dollars are paid for when the tuition bill is paid in full. First year residents with University Housing who are required to have a meal plan, will be billed each semester for the dining plan they chose. If your student runs out of funds on their meal plan, additional funds can be added through the wiscard site. Meal plans are not paid to the wiscard office. Please note that if you make an additional payment on to the wiscard for the meal plan, you will still be billed the full semester amount for Spring. Wiscard Account Management
Note: As of the spring 2020 semester, tuition and housing charges were combined into one bill for a more convenient, seamless bill payment experience. Visit the Bursar’s Office website for details on this change.
