Daniel Becton

Daniel (he/him) has served as our Associate Director of Assessment and Planning since August 2022. He works with a team of Student Assessment Analysts to develop assessment projects, leads our Research workgroup, and facilitates Departmental and Divisional strategic planning.

Daniel holds multiple degrees, including a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership and Policy (UT-Austin), an  M.Div. (Harvard), an M.Sc. in Gender (London School of Economics), and a B.A. in Music & Philosophy (UNC-Chapel Hill). Before moving to Madison, he served as a Graduate Assistant in Housing (UT-Austin), Manager of Special Projects for Dean of Students (Harvard), and as a Program Manager for an educational nonprofit in the UK. 

Outside of work, Daniel likes to spend time with his family, watch soccer (Tottenham Hotspur) and basketball (college), and play and listen to music.
