Kelly (she/her) joined the UW-Madison Residence Life team in January 2015 as the Residence Life Coordinator in Dejope and Phillips Halls. She has subsequently held the roles of Area Coordinator (2017-2020) and Assistant Director of Residence Education (2020-2023). In her current role, she is responsible for professional staff recruitment, hiring, training, and development and co-chairs the Learning, Training, and Development (LTD) committee.
Originally from the Green Bay area, Kelly graduated from UW-Madison with a BA in History and Women’s Studies and from The University of Iowa with an MA in Student Development in Postsecondary Education. Before moving back to Madison, Kelly served as a Residence Hall Director in Riggs and Johnson Halls at SUNY Oswego in upstate New York.
In her spare time, Kelly enjoys reading as many books as her Libby account allows, experimenting with new recipes, and hanging out with her spouse and their dog, Cooper.
