University Apartments Parking Signs

With the completion of the restriping and renumbering of parking stalls in Eagle Heights, you may have also noticed new parking signs throughout the Eagle Heights parking lots. The new parking signs with the “EH” label are stalls designated for Transportation Services permit holders assigned to the EH lot. Transportation Services is using the EH label for the stalls in our community instead of a Lot number, which they use on the rest of the campus. The information on the signs is the instructions for the Transportation Services permit holders – not for University Apartments residents.

Guests/visitors of residents ARE allowed to park in the designated stalls on the weekends and after 4:30 pm/overnight only! Persons using the stalls must move their car by 7:00 a.m., Monday-Friday or risk receiving a parking citation by Transportation Services or their vehicle may be towed. In Lot Z, the parking lot at the top of Eagle Heights Drive, the row of stalls closest to the road are designated for Transportation Services permit holders assigned to the EH lot. There are 32 remaining stalls in Lot Z for residents registered for Paid Parking. Please note, the use of the EH stalls will be monitored and enforced by the Transportation Services. Questions or concerns regarding those stalls labeled as EH should be directed to Transportation Services. They can be contacted at: (608) 263-6666; customerservice@fpm.wisc.edu

Residents with registered vehicles should use their assigned parking stalls.

Visitor and Paid Parking signs are also up in most of the Eagle Heights parking lots. Many stalls remain in the same place with the added baselot letter and designated number. Due to the reallocation of stalls in some of the parking lots, some of the Visitor and Paid Parking signs were removed. The signs will return to properly mark the designated stalls. As they need to be deeply cemented in the ground, it may take a bit longer to get the signs up. If you’d like a map or information regarding the stalls, you may contact our office: universityapartments@housing.wisc.edu
