Welcome to University Housing student employment!
Explore current openings
You are about to become part of a team of 1,700 students who will have a lasting impact on their peers’ Wisconsin experience. A job is a great way to meet friends and to become an important part of things happening on your campus. We have a wide variety of student job openings, and you’ll gain valuable life skills – such as time management, how to relate well to others, problem solving skills – which will help you succeed in your career and in life! Also, as a UW-Madison student working on campus, you may not have to pay Social Security (6.2%) and Medicare (FICA) taxes (1.45%). This could save you hundreds of dollars each year!
At Housing, we have experience with a student workforce and know that academics are your top priority. Our student employees also discover that working part-time makes the transition to college easier. In fact, campus data reveals UW-Madison students who work a part-time job do better academically than students who choose not to work.
