Meet Stella Zhang, UA’s New Programming Resident Manager!

headshot of Stella YangHi! I’m Stella Zhang, and I’m thrilled to be your new Resident Manager – Programming! I’m currently a first-year Juris Doctor candidate at the law school. Having grown up in China, I’ve had the opportunity to study across the globe, including Europe, Israel, and the United States. Before moving to Madison in August, I completed my master’s degree at Duke University in North Carolina, where I gained valuable experience working in residential life.

Since moving to Eagle Heights in September, I’ve fallen in love with this vibrant community. I’m passionate about building friendships with people from diverse cultural backgrounds. In my free time, you’ll find me traveling, pursuing photography, and advocating for animal welfare. My family in China shares this passion – we’ve adopted 6 cats and 8 dogs! I’m also proud to serve as a member of the Animal Legal Defense Fund at the law school.

If you see me around campus, please don’t hesitate to say hello! I’m here to help and looking forward to getting to know each of you better!
