Mackenzie (she/her) joined the Spark Learning Community as Program Manager in 2023 and the GreenHouse Learning Community as Program Manager in 2025. While in her role, she has been involved on campus as a member of the HIPs Consortium and has served as a commencement marshal and King-Morgridge Scholar host family.
Mackenzie grew up in Barrington, Illinois and is a proud UW-Madison alumna; she earned her BA in History & Environmental Studies with a Certificate in German. Prior to returning to UW-Madison, Mackenzie was a History Teaching Fellow at Phillips Academy-Andover and a History Teacher at Greenhills School, Upper School.
An animal lover, Mackenzie enjoys hiking with her Red Heeler (Nelson), tending to her 6 chickens, and watching Gilmore Girls with her cat (Aldo). You can also find her gardening, biking/spinning, and spending quality time with friends and family.
